14.

Given : 3 log x + (1/2) log y = 2.

We know that a log b = log b^a.

⇒ log x^3 + log y^1/2 = 2

We know that log + log b = log (ab)

⇒ log(x^3 * y^1/2) = 2

⇒ log(x^3 * y^1/2) = log(100)

⇒ x^3 * y^1/2 = 100

⇒ y^1/2 = 100/x^3.

On squaring both sides, we get

⇒ y = (100/x^3)^2

⇒ y = 10000/x^6

y = 10000 x^-6.

Hope it helps!
