Hey,sup!
x=(√3+√2)/√3-√2.
Multiplying and dividing by conjugate.
=(√3+√2)/√3-√2 × (√3+√2)/(√3+√2).
=(√3+√2)^2/(√3)^2-(√2)^2.
=3+2+2*√3*√2/(3-2).
=5+2√6.
Y=(√3-√2)/√3+√2.
Multiplying and dividing by conjugate.
=(√3-√2)/√3+√2 × (√3-√2)/(√3-√2).
=(√3-√2)^2/(√3)^2-(√2)^2.
=3+2-2*√3*√2/(3-2).
=5-2√6.
So x^2 + y^2.
=(5+2√6)^2 + (5-2√6)^2.
= 25+24+2*5*2√6 +25+24-2*5*2√6 .
= 25+24+25+24.
=98.
Hope it helps.
