✯✯ QUESTION ✯✯

How are Soles,Solutions and the suspensions different from each other ?

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

✰✰ ANSWER ✰✰

Solution : -

★A solution is a homogenous mixture.

★The size of solute particle is less than {10}^{-7}.

★The solute particles are not visible with naked eyes or under a simple microscope.

★Solution passes through filter paper as whole.

★Solution do not scatter light i.e. donot show tyndall effect..

Soles : -

★A sole appears to be homogenous but actually it is heterogenous.

★The size of the collodial particles is between {10}^{-4} and {10}^{-7}.

★Collodial particles are not visible with naked eyes or with a simple microscope.

★Soles also pass through filter paper.

★Soles scatter light and hence shows tyndall effect..

Suspensions : -

★It is heterogenous mixture.

★The size of suspended particle is {10}^{-3} or more.

★The suspended particles can be seen with naked eyes.

★The suspended particles retained from filter paper.

★Suspensions may show Tyndall effect..
