In ∆ BDC,

S is the midpoint of BD and R is the midpoint of CD

→ SR = 1/2BC ..... (1) { midpoint theorem }

Similarly ,

PS= 1/2 AD .....(2)

PQ = 1/2 AD .......(3)

RQ = 1/2 BC ........(4)

Also, AD = BC .......(5). { given }

From (1), (2), (3), (4) and (5) we get

PQ = QR = RS = PS.

→ PQRS is a rhombus.
