Radius of big sector =7cm
Radius of small sector=3.5

Area of big sector=
 \frac{ \alpha }{360}  \times \pi {r}^{2}
=
 \frac{30}{360}  \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7
=
 \frac{462}{36}  {cm}^{2}
=12.83cm²

Area of small sector =
 \frac{30}{360}  \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 3.5 \times 3.5
=3.208cm²

Shaded area =12.83-3.208=9.625cm²
