Hey mate!!

Here's your answer...

--------------------------------------------------------

1.

We have (a)square+(b)square=?

a+b=6. (1)

a-b=4. (2)

By solving we get 2a=10

Then, a=10/2

A=5

Substitute a=5 in(1) or (2)

Then a=1

Then ,b=4-a. From. Equation (2)

Then b= 3

Now,,(a)square+(b)square=1square+3square

=1+9

=10

;;;therefore the value of a square plus bsquare is 10//

2.

a+b=6 →1st

a-b=4 →2nd

1+2

a+b=6

-

a-b=4

2a=10

divide 2 in both lhs and rhs,

a=5,

apply a=5 in 1st equation,

5+b=6,

b=6–5

=1

b=1,

hence,

ab=5*1

=5.

Answer:ab=5.
