$\leadsto \frac{z - 1}{3} = \frac{4 + z - 2}{4}$

$\leadsto \frac{z - 1}{3} = \frac{z + 2}{4}$

$\leadsto4(z - 1) = 3(z + 2)$

$\leadsto4z - 4 = 3z + 6$

$\leadsto4z - 3z = 6 + 4$

$\leadsto \huge \: z = 10$
