(I've already watched Stranger Things, but I'll try to imagine my own plot).

Will is taken away by a group of people after keenly observing him in the woods. The people of Hawkins are unaware that there is a sinister force lurking in the dark corners of the woods. They're simply referred to as The Masked Men and they try to conduct some neurological tests on him on his capability to be able to survive in the woods without anything other than a backpack of comic books.

This is what I thought of when I watched the first episode. The storyline is pretty good
