Hint:

You have been given the coordinates of a triangle.

Find the midpoints by applying the formula:

 \frac{x + y}{2}

So, now you have the coordinates of the triangle whose area is to be found.

Apply this formula to take out the area:

area =

A x ( B y − C y ) + B x ( C y − A y ) + C x ( A y − B y )

Do the same for the bigger one, and find ratios.
