If you'll apply the formula for surface area of cuboid => 2(lb+bh+hl) in those 3 cuboids then, the sum of their surface areas is 658 m^2.

Step by step explaination:

l = 8, b = 4, h = 5 for the front cuboid and the one present at the back. So, surface area of both of them would be equal.

=> 2[ 8(4)+4(5)+5(8) ] = 2*92 = 184 m^2

Surface area of both of them = 184*2

= 368 m^2

Now, l = 12, b = 5 , h = 5 for the middle cuboid,

=> 2[ 12(5)+5(5)+5(12) ] = 2*145 = 290 m^2

Therefore, surface area of the figure

= 368 + 290 = 658 m^2

I Hope it'll help you..
