please help me . in a science experiment the length of a spring increased by 40cm to 2m .find the percentage increase in the length of the spring

Answer:

original length = 40 cm

New length = 200 cm

increase in length = 200 - 40

= 160 cm

percentage increase =

 \frac{160}{40}  \times 100

= 400 %
