given,

value of the expression = 13

m = -2

n = 3

find : x

2(3n - ) + 2mx - = 13

6n - 2m² + 2mx - = 13

6(3) - 2(-2²) + 2(-2)(x) - (3²) = 13

18 - 8 - 4x - 9 = 13

18 - 8 - 9 - 4x = 13

1 - 4x = 13

-4x = 13-1

-4x = 12

x =  \frac{12}{ - 4}

x =  \frac{3}{ - 1}

x = (-3)

Hope it helps

Answer:

x = (-3)

Option 2. is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given,

m = (-2)

n = 3

2(3n - m²) + 2mx - n² = 13

Then, putting in the values,

2[3(3) - (-2)²] + 2(-2)x - (3)² = 13

2(9 - 4) - 4x - 9 = 13

2(5) - 4x - 9 = 13

10 - 9 - 4x = 13

1 - 4x = 13

1 - 13 = 4x

4x = (-12)

x = (-12)/4

x = (-3)

Hence,

x = (-3)

Hope it helped
