∠ADC=∠ACD

Therefore,

∠BCD>∠BDC

As the sides opposite to the greater angle is longer, so,

BD>BC

AB+AD>BC

Since AD=AC, then,

AB+AC>BC

Hence, sum of two sides of a triangle is always greater than the third side.
