Collenchyma- When the Parenchyma tissue starts to get a deposition of cellulose and pectin, types of complex Carbohydrates, around their corners, the intercellular spaces get filled up, and therefore forms a tough, strongly-packed tissue. This tissue is generally found in the epidermis of flowers, leaves, flower buds, and leave buds. This is the reason why a sudden gust of wind won't make the leaf or flower break or get separate from the plant.
