On multiplying the first equation with 3
6x+3y=105.
On multiplying second equation with 2
6x+8y=130
On subtracting first equation from second equation,
6x+8y-6x-3y=130-105
5y=25
y=5.
On putting value of y in first equation,
2x+5=35
2x=30
x=15.
x/y= 15/5 =3

Hence the answer is 3.
Hope it helps.

     3x + 4y = 65
-4( 2x + y = 35 )= -8x - 4y = -140

so,   3x + 4y = 65
      -8x - 4y = -140
   = -5x + 0 = -75
then, -5x + 0 = -75
           x = -75/-5
            x = 15
now finding y
          3x + 4y = 65
          3(15) +4y = 65
           45 + 4y = 65
            4y = 65 - 45
           4y = 20
              y = 20/4 =5
            y = 5
hence, x = 15 and y = 5.
              x/y = 15/5 = 3
