Step-by-step explanation:

THIS IS THE ANSWER FOR THE FIRST ONE

TRIANGLE PQR IS A RIGHT ANGLED TRIANGLE...GIVE

DRAW TRIANGLE PQR SUCH THAT  ANGLE RPQ=90

PM IS PERPENDICULAR ON THE HYPOTENUSE RQ

THEREFORE BY THE THEOREM OF GEOMETRIC  MEAN

(I.E IN A RIGHT ANGLED TRIANGLE , THE PERPENDICULAR SEGMENT TO THE HYPOTENUSE FROM THE OPPOSITE VERTEX IS THE GEOMETRIC MEAN OF THE SEGMENTS INTO WHICH THE HYPOTENUSE IS DIVIDED.)

PM²=QM*QR
