area of rectangle = 35× 60= 2100
semicircle and two quarter cicles make one complete circle of diameter 35 cm
area of circle = pi r2
= 22/7×35/2 ×35/2
= 961.625
area of shaded region= area of rectangle - area of circle
= 2100- 961.625
=1138.365
