Answer: hey mate answer is 0.6375m^2 .

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of garden = 85 m

Breadth of garden = 75 m

Area of garden = l * b

                          = 85 * 75

                          = 6375 m^2

Area of garden including path = 90 * 80 = 7200m^2

Area of part = Area of the garden including the path - Area of garden

7200m^2 - 6375^2 = 825m^2

1 hectare = 10000m^2

Therefore , area of garden in hectare

6375/10000

0.6375.

Therefore , The area of path is 825m^2 and area of garden in hectares is 0.6375m^2.

Hey Dear User :)

GIVEN :

Length Of Garden = 85m

Breadth Of Garden = 75m

Breadth Of Path = 4m

TO FIND :

Area of path.

How?

We will find the area of Garden and the area of path with garden, we will then remove the extra, that is, area of garden by subtracting it from the area of garden with path. Following these steps, we will have the area of the path at the end.

Notice that the length and breadth of garden with path would be length + 4 + 4 and breadth + 4 + 4

LETS SAY :

  • Area of Garden - A1
  • Area of Garden with Path - A2
  • Area of Path - A3

Now Let's solve it!

_______________________________________

ANSWER :

A1 = l × b = 85 × 75 = 6375m²

A2 = l × b = (85 + 4 + 4) × (75 + 4 + 4) = 93 × 83 = 7719m²

∴ A3 = A2 - A1 = 7719 - 6375 = 1344m²

Now,

10000m² = 1ha

∴ 1344m² = 1344/10000 = 0.1344ha

\large\bold{\mathsf{\boxed{\boxed{ ∵Area \: of \: path \: = \: 0.1344ha}}}}
