Step-by-step explanation:

consider weight of Mr. sharma is x kg before 3 months

3months before they lost 5(1/2) kg=x-5(1/2)kg

=x-11/2 kg

then gain 2(1/4) kg=x+2(1/4)kg =x+9/4 kg

then lost 3(3/4 )kg =x-3(3/4)kg. =x-15/4 kg

their present weight =95

x-(11/2)+x+(9/4)+x-(15/4)=95

3x+(-22+9-15)/4=95

3x+(-28)/4=95

3x-7=95

3x=95+7

3x=102

x=102/3

x=34kg

hence their weight is 34 kg before 3 months.
