if x=√2+1
then 1/x=1/√2+1
=√2-1/2-1(rationalization)
=√2-1
therefore, x-1/x=√2+1-√2+1
=2
then 1/x=1/√2+1
=√2-1/2-1(rationalization)
=√2-1
therefore, x-1/x=√2+1-√2+1
=2

=x^2_1/x.....then
=(√2+1)^2_1/√2+1
=2+2√2+1_1/√2+1
=2+2√2/√2+1
=2
=x^2_1/x.....then
=(√2+1)^2_1/√2+1
=2+2√2+1_1/√2+1
=2+2√2/√2+1
=2
