It is given that the area of the parallelogram is 48cm^2.

We know that area of a parallelogram=base * height

=>48=AX * 7
=>AX=7(approx.)

Similarly =>48=CY*4
=>CY=12

we know that ,
Area of || gm= Base × Height
48cm^2=7cm×AX
48cm^2/7cm=AX
48/7cm =AX
6.857 cm =AX
NOW,
Base=4cm,height =YC
Base×Height=48cm^2
4×YC=48cm^2
YC=48cm^2/4cm
=12cm
