By using the formula,

logm^n = nlogm

so, log8 can also be written as log2³
log2³ is in the form of formula used so on applying it to the forumula,

log 2³=3log2

X = 3 and Y = 2 as u can see!!
value of log2 = 0.3010
=3 * 0.3010
= 0.9(approx)
