Next, an ideal holiday would give me plenty of chances to mix with locals. This is important to me as I like making new friends and expanding my social circle. Additionally, I believe that locals will be able to teach me more about the place’s culture. For example, when people visit Singapore, they can learn about Singlish if they befriend locals. However, if they only interact with fellow tourists and staff at tourist attractions, they are unlikely to learn about it. Therefore, I would like to interact with locals when I go on holiday.
