Answer:

√a/b= (b/a)^1-3x

(a/b)^1/2= (a/b)^-{1-3x}

equting exponents we get,

1/2= 3x-1

3x= 1/2+1

3x= 3/2

x= 3/2×1/3

x= 1/2

hope it helps you

Square on both sides

 \frac{a}{b}  =   { \frac{b}{a} }^{2(1 - 3x)}

 \frac{a}{b}  =  { \frac{b}{a} }^{2 - 6x}

take \: reciprocal \: on \: rhs

 \frac{a}{b}  =  { \frac{a}{b} }^{6x - 2}

the \: base \: are \: equal \\ so \: exponents \: must \: be \: equal

6x - 2 = 1 \\ 6x = 3 \\ x =  \frac{1}{2}
