Step-by-step explanation:

( \frac{5}{4}  +  \frac{ - 1}{2} ) +  - \frac{ - 3}{2}  =  \frac{5}{4}  + ( \frac{ - 1}{2}  +  \frac{ - 3}{2} )

Take LCM of 4 and 2 =4

 \frac{5 - 2}{4}  +  \frac{ - 3}{2}

 \frac{3}{4}  +  \frac{ - 3}{2}

Then again take LCM of 4 and 2

 \frac{3 - 6}{4 }  =  \frac{ - 3}{4}

Now solve the right side equation

 \frac{5}{4}  +  \frac{1 - 3}{2}  =  \frac{5}{4}  +   \frac{ - 4}{2}

Now take the denominator of 1 as 1 only

Take out the LCM of 4 and 2= 4

 \frac{5 - 8}{4}   =  \frac{ - 3}{4}

Now compare,

 \frac{ - 3}{4}  =  \frac{ - 3}{4}

Hence Proved
