HELLO DEAR,

LET THE RADIUS OF THE OUTER BOUNDARY BE (R CM)

GIVEN THAT:-
TOTAL AREA OF THE RING =346.5CM²

π (R²-14²)=346.5

 \frac{22}{7} \times ( {r}^{2} - 196) = 346.5 \\ = > 22 \times ( {r}^{2} - 196) = 2424.5 \\ = > ( {r }^{2} - 196) = 110.25 \\ = > {r}^{2} = 110.25 + 196 \\ = > {r}^{2} = 306.25 \\ = > r = 17.5
I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS

rohitkumargupta: Hey dear
rohitkumargupta: whose answer is correct
maya29: I don't know are u sure your answer is right
rohitkumargupta: yes
rohitkumargupta: according to the questions

Radius of the inner boundary (r) = 14 cm
Area of the ring(doesn't include inner boundary area) = 364.5 cm²

Area of the inner boundary = π r²

= 3.14 × 14 × 14

= 615.44 cm²

Total area of the ring (includes areas of both boundaries) = 615.44 + 364.5

= 979.94 cm²

Radius of the outer boundary = √(979.94/3.14)

=√312.08

Radius of the outer boundary is 17.66 cm.
