While other states move from their traditional-based agriculture Assam is still dependent on agricultural sector.Since Assam is less still developed country ,their most business is agriculture. Their economy is completely based on their agriculture.Assam produces both food and cash crops due to their agricultural sector.Tea is the most important cash crop by agricultural sector which is used world wide and has often produced profits. Continuing on relying on the seasonal monsoon for the necessary water for cultivation is another method of farming in Assam.
