A homogeneous society, with a strong sense of group and national identity and little or no ethnic or racial diversity. But such differences exist in Japan, as in all societies, as Harvard University professors Theodore Bestor and Helen Hardacre explain in this video series.

A “Homogenous Society” is a society where most of the people talk the same language, share the same kind of ethnicity, cultural values, and religious beliefs and systems.
Homogenous society can be of different types:
1. The Japanese are said to live in a homogenous society since they all share the same ethnicity.
2. Indians are a homogenous society since they share similar cultural values.
3. Communists are a homogenous society since they share a similar belief in the political field. It is difficult to have a society with complete homogeneity.

However, a few best examples are:

The Japanese society, the Chinese society, a few tribe groups in Africa namely the Zulu tribe in South Africa and the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria, the Native Americans or the Red Indians in the U.S.
