Please need supporting arguments on the point."luck favors the fool"

mostly it's happen in our daily life. that we feels the one who actually prepare best for the task. got failure but on the same time the one another who actually not serious about the task got success. and we feels that the luck works for him/her.
but in actual sometimes being focused is not so important then having a practical experience.
form my opinion lucks doesn't matter its all depends open you practical experiences.
and when we got fail by our work we feels thats because of luck but in actual its because of practical experience.
so dont blv in luck. just work and enjoy the life.
