Required Answer:-

Tip: Try visualizing before started solving for total number of students in the row. Refer to the attachment...

Given :

  • A is 24th from the left end.
  • B is 25th from the right end.
  • C is 3rd to the right of A.
  • C is immediately right of B.

Then :

  • How many students were standing in the row?

Discuss :

Including A, there were 24 students and including B, there were 25 students from either end. Then, Now we have a total of 24 + 25 = 49 students.

Now, As the position of C is also given i.e. third to the right of A, then there's only one student between A and B because the second and third is B and C respectively. They are already included. Just one more extra student was now determined. 49 + 1 = 50

Hence :

Total number of students standing in the row is 50 which was determined by the given information :)
