Step-by-step explanation:

Given - O is the centrcentre of the circle and AD and BC are two chords.

To prove - AB = CD

Now let the point weather perpendicular is dropped be K.

AK = DK --- (1)

( Theorem - a perpendicular from the centre of the circle always bisects the chord into two equal parts )

Similarly

BK = CK ---- (2)

Subtracting (2) from (1)

AK - BK = DK - CK

AB = CD

Hence Proved
