Solve 3x^2 - 4x = 4 by completing the square method

Answer:

3x^2-4x=4

3x^2-4x-4= O

3x^2-6x+2x-4=0. ( by middle term splitting)

3x(x-2)+2(x-2)

(3x+2)(x-2) =0

so one of term should be zero.

3x+2=0

3x=-2

x= -2/3

x-2= 0

x=2.

therefore x= -2/3 or 2.
