Answer: in ∆ABC and ∆DGB

AngleB = angleB ( common )

AngleA=angleG=90°

∆ABC ~∆GBD------(1)(AA similarly)

In ∆ABC and ∆EFC

AngleC=angleC ( common )

AngleF=angleA=90°

∆ABC~∆FEC-------(2)(AA similarly)

Step-by-step explanation: from (1) & (2)

∆GBD~∆FEC

GD/FC=BG/EF

Cross multiplication

GD×EF= BG×FC

GD=GF=FE=DE( square)

Therefore; FG×FG=BG×FC

FG^2=BG×FC
