♦ Then, money spent,

= 75% of total

= 75% of x

= 75/100 × x

= 75x/100



♦ Then, money left,

= total - spent

= x - 75x/100

= (100x - 75x)/100

= 25x/100


♦ But, A / Q, money left = 600 Rs.


=>>> 25x/100 = 600

=> x = 600 × 100/25

=> x = 600 × 4/1

=> x = 2400 Rs.
