Length of bigger rectangular box given = 3m = 300cm

Breadth given = 2m = 200cm (1m =100cm)

Height given = 4m = 400cm

We know, volume of a rectangle = Length×Breadth×Height.

So, here, 3m×2m×4m = 24m³ = 24000000cm³

Now, Length of smaller rectangular box = 30cm

Breadth = 20cm

Height = 40cm

Now, volume = (30×20×40)cm = 24000cm³

Now, No. Of smaller boxes that can be placed =

Volume of bigger box/volume of smaller box

= 24000000cm³/24000cm³

= 1000 boxes.

Therefore, 1000 boxes can be placed.

HAVE A NICE DAY!
