Let Present age of vijay be x and of sushma be y yrs
We are given, y = x + 15 .............................(1)
and, (y + 3) = 8(x-3)
By Putting value of y from Eqn (1)
x + 15 + 3 = 8x - 24
7x = 42
so, x = 6
Hence Present Age of Vijay = 6 Yrs.
And Of Sushma = 21 yrs.
We are given, y = x + 15 .............................(1)
and, (y + 3) = 8(x-3)
By Putting value of y from Eqn (1)
x + 15 + 3 = 8x - 24
7x = 42
so, x = 6
Hence Present Age of Vijay = 6 Yrs.

Given that Sushma is now 15years older than Vijay.
x = y + 15. ------- (1)
Given that in 3 years more she will be 8 times as old as vijay was 3 years ago.
x + 3 = 8(y - 3)
x + 3 = 8y - 24
y + 15 + 3 = 8y - 24
y + 18 = 8y - 24
7y = 42
y = 6.
Substitute y = 6 in (1), we get
x = 6 + 15
x = 21.
Therefore the present age of Sushma is 21 years.
Therefore the present age of Vijay is 6 years.
Verification:
x = y + 15
x - y = 15
21 - 6 = 15
15 = 15.
