∴ x = 72
Hence the two parts 72 and 112.

According to question

a/3 - (184-a) / 7 = 8

=> [ 7a - 3(184 - a)] /21 = 8

=> 7a + 3a - 552 = 8 * 21

=> 10a - 552 = 168

=> 10a = 168 + 552

=> 10a = 720

=> a = 72

First part = 72

Second part = 112
