factors = a factor of a number is an exact divisor of that number . examples - factors of 6 is 1,2,3,6 , factors of 8 is 1,2,4,8 , factors of 9 is 1,3,9 , factors of 10 is 1,2,5,10 , factors of 12 is 1,2,3,4,6,12.
