As per the newton's low of gravitation, each particle attracts every other particle by the force which is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

I, e. F= G (m1*m2) /r2

Here G is gravitational constant.

Now if distance is increase by 100% means that it gets double. Therefore

F1 =G(m1*m2) /(2r)2

F1= 1/4 G(m1*m2) /r2

F1 = 1/4 * F.

Hence force will reduced to quarter of the original Force.
