we know in a triangle sum of all angles is equal to 180°
90°+70°+unknown angle = 180°
160° + a = 180°
a = 180-160 = 20°
in fig.
x+90 = 180° (linear pair)
x=180-90
x = 90°
z+a = 180°. (linear pair)
z+20° = 180°
z = 160°
y+70 = 180°. (linear pair)
y = 180-70
y = 110°
x+y+z = 90°+160°+110° = 360°
