total no. of possible outcomes=6

(i) no. of possibilities of getting 1=3

p(1)=no of possibilities/total no outcomes possible

=3/6=1/2

(ii)no of possibilities of getting 2=2

p(2)=2/6=1/3

(iii) no of shaded region=4

p(shaded reg)=4/6=2/3

(iv)no of unshaded region=2

probability=2/6=1/3

(v)no of shaded regions with 1 =2

probability=2/6=1/3

(vi)no of unshaded regions with 1 on it=1

probability=1/6
