Photosynthesis is an anabolic process through which green plants make their own food with the help of water and carbon dioxide in the presence of chlorophyll.
6CO2(Carbon dioxide)+ 6H2O(Water)
----Sunlight and Chlorophyll-------> C6H12O6+6O2
Raw materials are water (which it receives from soil through roots), Carbon dioxide (which it gets from atmosphere through stomata) and sunlight (from nature) and chlorophyll(already present in it's cells) as catalyst.
Photosynthesis happens only during daytime as during night sunlight is absent.
Compensation point is the amount of light intensity on the light curve where the rate of photosynthesis matches the rate of respiration.
Thanks
Hope it helps you.
