according to question =>

x + y = 64 --------------(1)


now , difference between them is


there is two condition possible


case 1 :- y - x = 10

case 2 :- x - y = 10


now , from equation 1 and case 1


we get ,


x + y = 64
y - x = 10

2y = 74

y = 37

x = 27


now ,


from equation 1 and case 2


we get :-

x + y = 64
x - y = 10
==========
2x = 74

x = 37

y = 27


hence , two condition are possible !!


hence , your answer is

★ x = 37 , 27 ★
★ y = 27 , 37 ★
