Answer:

if the lines in the given figure are parallel then Angle (y) and 25° are alternate interior angles

and are equal,

therefore Angle (y) = 25°

In the triangle on the right side of the figure,

Angle (z) + Angle (y) + 25° = 180°

[Angle Sum Property Of ∆]

z + 25° +25° = 180°

z = 180° -(25+25)°

angle (z) = 130°

Angle (x) and Angle (z) lie on a straight line and thus form a linear pair,

Angle (x) + Angle (z) = 180° [linear pair]

X + 130° = 180°

Angle x = 180° - 130°

Angle (x) = 50°
