therefore, tan∅=8-sec∅

equation 2 = sec∅-tan∅=8

substituting the value of tan∅ from equation 1 in equation 2 :-

sec∅-(8-sec∅) = 8

=>2sec∅=16

=>sec∅=8

therefore, if the value of sec∅ is 8 then by putting this value in equation 1 or 2 , we get the value of tan∅ = 0

(from here we also get that tan∅ = tan0° , as tan0° = 0 )
