HEY
HERE'S YOUR ANSWER
Perimeter of the square is 160 m
Side = perimeter / 4 = 160/4 m = 40 m
:. The area of the square is 40*40 m² = 1600 m².
Now ATQ,
Area of the rectangle is (1600-100) m² = 1500 m²
Now perimeter of the rectangle is 160 m
so 2(l+b) = 160
so l+b = 80. -----(1)
And Area of the rectangle is 1500
so l*b = 1500
so lb= 1500 -----(2)
now (l-b)² = (l+b)² -4lb
so (l-b)² = 80² -4*1500
so (l-b)² = 6400 - 6000
so (l-b)² = 400
so l-b = 20 -----(3)
now solving (1) and (2)....
## l+b=80
l-b= 20
:. 2l = 100
so l = 50 ......{ANSWER}
