Area of any quadrilateral = 1/2 x diagonal x (sum of perpendicular distances of other vertices to the diagonal)= 1/2 x AC x (DE + BF)

So, we can substitute the values..

Let 'a' be the length of the perpendicular drawn from D on AC.
12×25×(14+a)=325⇒14+a=325×225⇒14+a=26⇒a=26−14⇒a=12 cm
