Step-by-step explanation:

Let roots or zeroes be 'a' and 'b'.

a+b = m/1

Given a+b = p * (a-b)

         (a+b)² = p²(a-b)²

         m² = p² (a²+b²-2ab)

         m² = p²(a² + b² + 2ab - 4ab)

         m² = p²[(a+b)² - 4ab]

         m² = p²(m²) - 4p²n [ ab = n; product of roots]

          p²m² - m² = 4p²n

         m²(p²-1) = 4p²n

Hence proved
