i.) Given AB=BC
now AB can be written as
AB= AL+LB
& llrly BC= BM+ MC
it is given AB= BC
substitution of values
AL+ LB=BM+MC
but AL=LB. &. MC=BM
AL+AL=MC+MC

AL=MC HENCE PROVED
ii.) Given BL= BM
MULTIPLYING 2 BOTH SIDES
2BL=2BM
BL+BL=BM+BM
we know BL=AL. & BM=MC
BL+AL=BM+MC
AB=BC hence proved
hence AL=LB
