\frac{2(x + 2)}{2x - 3} - \frac{9(2x - 3)}{x + 2} = 3

Taking LCM of the Given Fractions We get :

\frac{2(x + 2)^2 - 9(2x - 3)^2}{(2x - 3) (x + 2)} = 3

⇒ 2( x² + 4x + 4) - 9(4x² - 12x + 9) = 3(2x - 3)(x + 2)

⇒ 2x² + 8x + 8 - 36x² + 108x - 81 = 3(2x² + 4x - 3x - 6)

⇒ -34x² + 116x - 73 = 6x² + 3x - 18

⇒ 40x² - 113x + 55 = 0

⇒ 40x² - 88x - 25x + 55 = 0

⇒ 8x(5x - 11) - 5(5x - 11) = 0

⇒ (8x - 5)(5x - 11) = 0

⇒ x = 5/8 or x = 11/5
